Beautiful antique pewter chocolate/bonbon money box
The Wise Children’s Money Box (La Tirelire des Enfants Sages)
They date from around 1900/1920 and were used to teach children to save.
If they dutifully put a coin in, they could get chocolate out.
It is beautifully decorated with angels.
